And you add the dock panel in the canvas, why? the dock panel only has one child element in it, so this status bar fills the area of the dock panel, and the dock panel is rendered at the top-left corner of the canvas.
Please add the canvas panel into the dock panel, do not set the DockPanel property to the canvas panel, so it can fill the center area of the dock, and the status bar will be in the bottom.
